Lesson Plans for the Week of September 11, 2023

Test on Thursday!

I have assigned two “quizzes” on myap.collegeboard. One is multiple choice with 18 questions and the other is a free response with 2 questions (which you will be able to score your own frq). These are NOT for a grade in any way, BUT they are valuable for you to self-check your understanding of Unit 1. I have a due date so you can set a deadline for yourself and because I can’t leave them open indefinitely.

Monday

Intermediate Value Theorem

Wksht: IVT (1-9)

Tuesday

Twinning with Discontinuities (1-9)

“Wksht on Limits” (1-18)

Wednesday

Wksht: “What did one math book say to the other?”

Thursday

T2

Desmos” what is the derivative anyway?”

(the link is on google classroom)

Friday and finish on Monday

Lesson Plans for the Week of August 14, 2023

Welcome back!! I hope you’re excited to jump into the world of Calculus!

One big difference in calculus,  is I will not be posting worksheets/notes on the blog. I use several sources that are paid for, and putting their stuff online is prohibited. You will always have a copy waiting for you when you return when you are absent, or you can get it early, or you can ask a classmate to pick it up for you.

Monday

Teacher workday

Tuesday

First Day

Understanding the point of calculus (groups)

Wednesday

Introducing Calculus: Can change occur at an instant? (Calc medic 1.1)

Wksht: intro to limits

Thursday Desmos: Intro to Limits (the link is in google classroom)

Friday

Wksht: Always True or Not?

Wksht: Meet the parents
